RESOURCES: Books to Support Your Evolution

Hey there beautiful soul,

If you're on the hunt for some soul-stirring (or mind-boggling) reads, I want to share a few of my all-time favourite books in the realm of self-discovery and personal growth.

Each of these books has left a lasting impression on me, offering powerful perspective shifts and inspiration exactly when I needed it most.

They've become staples in my life, and I truly hope they bring something meaningful to your journey as well.

With love,

TOP 5: A Good Place to Start

#1 THE BODY KEEPS THE SCORE
Bessel Van der Kolk

In my humble opinion, another ESSENTIAL read that changed my perspective on the human mind-body forever. Wow. (A few years back, when I was suffering from panic attacks and intense anxiety this really helped me understand what was really going on + leading me to the right combination of healing)

TRAUMA, HEALING & THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

📙The Biology of Belief - Bruce Lipton
It was written almost 20 years ago yet still groundbreaking in its explanation of how our biology and potential to create our destiny interface.

THE BODY KEEPS THE SCORE

YOGA, SPIRITUALITY & MINDFULNESS

1) Wherever you go, there you are - Jon Kabat-Zinn
(A classic in the mindfulness space)

2) Heal Thyself - Saki Santorelli
(This is from the perspective of mindfulness as a healing modality in medicine, but the relatable stories transcend this context)

3) The Art of Communicating - Thich Nhat Hanh
(Simple yet profound, mindfulness about what we consume and what we put out in the world)

4) Mindfulness Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Psychology - Feldman & Kuyken
(This book is more about the theoretical foundations, so a recommendation more directed at teachers of mindfulness)

5) Finding Peace in a Frantic World - Williams & Penman
(Structured as an 8-week mindfulness course, reading this book is the next best option after actually taking the course with a trained teacher)

Bringing Yoga to Life - Donna Farhi
If you want to deepen your yoga practice without going as far as the Bhagavad-Gita or Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, please read.
